Summer 2019 is upon us. We've already had a few wonderful sunny weekends. That perfect time for a countryside drive through the fields of Prescott-Russell. The circuit is still comprised of its five original giant murals on farm silos, painted in 2017, and two food and drink stops: The St-Albert Cheese Co-operative and Beau's All Natural Brewing Co. Our producers, farm owners, are open at different times. Make sure you look up these times before you take the road. It will soon be the time for berry picking farms to open their doors. A fun, relaxing and yummy activity to add to your tour. Soon, soon, soon!
We've just opened the Popsilos circuit, today June 30, for the busy summer season! Five monumental murals painted on farm silos in the Prescott and Russell region are now ready to be discovered. The silos offer a celebratory canvas for urban and art and agriculture. The merger of urban and rural creates a new Canadian experience, in a circuit, unexpected and and sensorial, a first of its kind in Canada. Visitors of the circuit are invited to veer off the route and discover local products to complement their experience. Popsilos is perfect for day-trippers seeking serendipitous experiences. The circuit is set to be opened from June 30th until October 31st.
Today marks the last day of the circuit’s first season.
