A graduate of the École Nationale Supérieure des beaux-arts de Paris in sculpture, Pascal Demonsand lives and works in Bourget. Awardee of the Ontario Arts Council, his artworks are part of public and private collections, such as those of Loto Québec and the Recreational and Cultural Complex, monumental interactive artwork. Also awarded a prize from the Comité international des Jeux de la Francophonie, he is involved with the arts community as a juror and as a member of many artistic groups. His work finds its expression through paint, sculpture and specifically, through photography, image projection, industrial paint, caulking and welded bronze.
Pascal Demonsand gave seven community workshops in schools in the Prescott and Russell region on the themes of Environment, Youth and the Hope for unity, collecting ideas and inspiration for the mural artists. Students loved working with dry pasels attached to the ends of long bamboo sticks to create a collective mural.
